USER CONTROLS HowdyJust letting everyone know that we are not dead! Click the title for some updates on future plans for the site!
So after lot's of discussion with my web developer, who is EXTREMELY talented by the way! We both came to the conclusion that there were a lot of things we needed to change about how the site works. We want to change the site to make it more about user created content. Since people are lazy ill list format what we were thinking of.
-Integrating, expanding, and making the resources section more robust.
-Having a better author's page with full bio, links, authors blog, etc.
-A tools page with links to developer resources to help finding what you need for your game easy.
-Minor changes to make the game posting more user friendly.
-(Plausible, but not sure we want this one) Facebook integration. (if you really want this, make your voice heard, because neither of us are sure we want to add it)

NESonline | Good luck! April 26, 2010, 1:28 am A tools resource page would be useful for those making games. I would like to point out a nice utility, Byond, btw. It's a MMORPG engine, with map features, isometric, networking, menu themes, and a garbage collector (like Java) for making memory allocation easily taken care of automatically. The site itself is a good idea, it just needs to be a lot more visually enhanced overall. I hope to see the new site changes! |
